This course caters to B2/C1-level students and up who aim to enhance and exercise their oral comprehension and production abilities using a communicative and action-oriented approach to language learning that revolves around current events.

The teacher is using real-life francophone recent news for this class.

While the primary focus is on oral communication, there may also be occasional inclusion of written comprehension and production tasks to support the desired outcomes. Each week, participants will delve into a different RFI news report by engaging in reading and/or listening exercises that are suitable for their level. The course will also involve a thorough review of pertinent vocabulary and one or more B1-level grammar points, which will then be practiced through structured activities to foster genuine conversations.

Throughout the duration of the course, students will receive individualized and timely feedback from their instructor on areas such as grammar, vocabulary, syntax, and pronunciation. B2/C1 learners are expected to gradually develop confidence in expressing themselves straightforwardly on familiar topics commonly encountered in various contexts, including work, school, and leisure. Additionally, they should be able to adapt flexibly to everyday challenges and generally comprehend discussions presented clearly.
