French Film Club
The Alliance Française San Diego is happy to join forces with The French Film Club of San Diego to bring you the best of francophone cinema.
Each month, you are invited to see recent, independent or acclaimed movies from all over the French-speaking world. Before the screening, enjoy hot drinks and light refreshments offered by Ingrid Pasco, sponsor of the Film Club.
Watching a movie in French and chatting with other guests is an excellent way for you to practice or maintain your French language outside the classroom.
Location: We are very grateful for the San Diego French American School's hospitality, which opens its beautiful auditorium to us.

An opportunity to discover recent highly rated movies
We are proud to present highly rated and recently released movies, that spark conversation and cover a wide range of style from historical to contemporary society. All movies are in French with English subtitles.

French Film Club: Join us for movies and light refrehments. To sustain our event and nonprofit organization, we suggest a donation of $10 at the door.
It is recommended to RSVP so we can plan refreshments accordingly. Merci!

About the Film Club
The French Film Club of San Diego was started in 2017 by Amelie Catheline, Farnaz Shipee, and Olivier Pasco. The goal was to gather cinephiles passionate about French films once a month to be able to connect, talk and watch a movie together.
The Alliance Française San Diego is happy to continue this mission aligned with our own to promote the French Language and francophone cultures in San Diego. Our partnership brings together two entities to give you better access to classical films or recent releases in French.
