Private classes
We offer private French lessons and French tutoring tailored to the level and goals of the student.
Private lessons are perfect for those with specific goals in mind and you can focus on conversational, professional or written French.
When signing you up for private lessons, we will work with you to determine your level, your goals for the lessons, your availability, and anything else we should know to place you with one of our highly-skilled teachers.

We help students getting ready for a move to France, to go study at French universities or simply for a trip. The AFSD is a certified center for certifications, and private lessons are a great way to get ready for standardised tests such as the DALF/ DELF and TCF.

We offer semi-private classes for up to 3 students, which can be a great option if you have several students in your household or want to meet with some friends around a French class (more below).

Other Fees: Membership in the Alliance Francaise is required for all AF students which gives you access to all our benefits for members.

Private classes are online or in-person, with a fee of $15 for each class to reimburse the trip to the teacher when in person at your home. Books may be required depending on your objectives.
Semi-private classes are also available and reduce the cost of the classes.
