The Alliance Française de San Diego is a testing center for the DAEFLE certification.
The DAEFLE (Diplôme d'Aptitude à l'Enseignement du Français Langue Étrangère) is a distance professional training for teachers or future teachers wishing to teach French as a foreign language. This course is designed and managed by the Alliance Française de Paris in partnership with Centre National d’Enseignement à Distance (CNED). The preparation and training for this diploma focus on building skills in teaching French to non-French speaking students. This training is accessible only by means of a compulsory test and is validated by one of the final exams (old or new format) to obtain the DAEFLE.
