Cooking classes

From Classics recipes to the secret recipes of our chef Lili, join us to practice French in a fun atmosphere in small groups for adults and youth.

The Federation of the Alliances Francaises regularly offers online events with famous chef and cooking book writers.

Group classes - Youth 5+
at the San Diego French American School

Fall session - 12 Classes - Thursdays, 4.00 pm - 5.30 pm

location: SDFAS - 6550 Soledad Mountain Rd, La Jolla, CA 92037

Classes can be booked independently.

Classes include: 

  • Demonstration with instruction, techniques, and tips

  • Recipes and their history, origin

  • All ingredients

  • French vocabulary

  • Tasting at the end of the class

 

Members AFSD and SDFAS families: $40 / person per class

Non members: $53 non-members / person per class 

Minimum of 5 students

Group classes - Adults, teens and kids
so you can cook as a family
at the Alliance Française San Diego

Classes are on Saturdays 10 am - 12 pm, once per month.

​

Classes include: 

  • Demonstration with instruction, techniques, and tips

  • Recipes and their history, origin

  • All ingredients

  • French vocabulary

  • Tasting at the end of the class

 

Members: $50 / person per class

Non members: $70 non-members / person per class 

Register for 3 or 4 classes per session and save 5% 

Children under 12 must be with an adult, participating to the class.

Private cooking group classes​​

We offer the option to organize a private cooking class at your home, allowing you to gather with your friends around a recipe. It's also a fantastic option for a birthday party with kids.
