400 Years of the Marine Nationale
A week of adventure, discovery, and maritime exploration inspired by France’s historic navy
This summer, children are invited to set sail into the fascinating world of the Marine Nationale, which celebrates 400 years of history, innovation, and exploration. From early sailing ships to modern vessels, the French Navy has played a major role in scientific discovery, maritime safety, and the protection of the oceans.
Throughout the week, campers will explore life at sea, learn about famous explorers, discover how ships work, and take part in hands‑on activities inspired by navigation and teamwork. Through creative workshops, games, and storytelling, children will experience the spirit of adventure.
