Join us for a hike on Cedar Creek Falls
Attention: A one day permit is REQUIRED for this hike so you need to buy it online as soon as possible, place is limited. The fee is $6.00 for a group of up to 5 hikers. The sooner you get this the better.

Each participant books its own reservation and add people who will come with them. You will be able to print the ticket a week before the date. PRINT YOUR PERMIT, RANGERS DON’T ACCEPT SCREENSHOT FROM YOUR PHONE.
We recommend one permit per carpool so each car is independant.
The AFSD is not responsible if you do not have your permit.

It is a 45-60 min drive depending where you live in San Diego, please plan accordingly to arrive around 7:45am.
Meeting point/Parking: 15519 Thornbush Rd Ramona, CA 92065
On Interstate 15 express Northbound, take exit 17 onto Scripps Poway Parkway and turn right. Continue East on Scripps Poway Parkway until you reach Highway 67. Turn left toward Ramona and drive for about 10-15 miles. Before Ramona turn right on Dye rd, left on Ramona st, right Warnock Dr. At the light, turn right on San Vicente Rd and left on Ramona Oaks. Before the end of the road turn right on Thornbush rd. Continue on Thornbush rd until you reach a dead end and the entrance of the park.
Hike info: Distance: 6 miles, elevation 1000ft,
Difficulty: moderate. It’s a reverse hike. We’ll start by hiking down to the water fall (~1000ft) and hike back up.
What to bring: Water, electrolytes, and a snack. We will find a spot to snack close to water fall (15 minutes) before hike back to the car. Pack only what you can carry.

A minimum of 10 participants is required to make this happen. max 25 participants.
In case of bad weather, or not enough particpants, the event will be canceled and the announcement will be made 48 hours before.
