Sunday September 8, at 4:00 pm, our partner “Le Salon de Musiques” presents a special event celebrating French Music & Art at the La Jolla Woman’s Club. This event is accessible with tickets, see below.
Celebrate French Music & Art, in collaboration with K Nathan Gallery, featuring Chamber Music by Reynaldo Hahn, and Louise Farrenc, and paintings by the French Post-Impressionist Paul Rivoire.
– R. Hahn: “Venezia” songs for tenor & piano
– R. Hahn: Sonata for violin & piano in C Major
– L. Farrenc: Piano Trio No.1 in E Flat Major Op 33
Introduced by musicologist ERIC TINKERHESS, the concert will be performed by JON LEE KEENAN, TENOR, YUEUN KIM, VIOLIN, BEN SOLOMONOW, CELLO, & XIAO CHEN, PIANO.
