Week 8 - Art across the Atlantic - July 20 to 24
$299.00 USD
Description:
A week exploring creativity, self-expression, and the artistic dialogue across the Atlantic.
This summer, children are invited to discover how French and American artists have inspired one another for over 250 years, using colors, shapes, movement, music, and imagination to express ideas and emotions. From Impressionism in Paris to Pop Art in New York or jazz in New Orleans, campers will explore how art travels, transforms, and connects cultures across time and space.
Through hands-on art projects, storytelling, and playful exploration, campers will learn how artists on both sides of the Atlantic communicate feelings, tell stories, and reflect their world in creative ways.
Throughout the week, children will experiment with different artistic techniques—painting, collage, sculpture, and mixed media.
This camp encourages creativity, cultural curiosity, emotional awareness, and confidence in a warm, supportive environment, while
celebrating the shared artistic heritage between France and the United States.
This camp is open to all levels of French.
