The Alliance Française San Diego is pleased to partner with the French Film Club of San Diego and the Institut Français to bring the very best of Francophone cinema (with English subtitles) to San Diego.
From September through June, you are invited each month to discover recent, independent, and award-winning French-language films. Before each screening, enjoy complimentary hot drinks and light refreshments generously offered by Ingrid Pasco, sponsor of the French Film Club.
Attending a film in French and engaging in conversation with fellow guests is a wonderful way to practice or maintain your French outside the classroom. Alliance Française San Diego students, enrolled in a class, are invited to attend this event free of charge.

To sustain our event, we suggest a donation of $10. All proceeds help us to rent new releases, the auditorium and support our non-profit
association. Students of the AFSD, enrolled in a class, are invited to attend for free!

We are proud to present highly rated and recent films from the francophone world, that spark conversation and cover a wide range of style from historical to contemporary society. The films are curated by Olivier Pasco and our team. All films are in French with English subtitles.
The French Film Club of San Diego was founded in 2017 by Amélie Catheline, Farnaz Shipee, and Olivier Pasco with the goal of bringing together cinephiles and francophiles.
Our partnership brings together two entities sharing the same mission to promote the French language and francophone cultures in San Diego.
