French Film Club (with English sub)

Join us for the French Film Club for a film in French with English subtitles and light refreshments!

Book your tickets in advance so you don't have to worry about it! If you want to RSVP and pay at the door, select cash payment at checkout.
Walk-ins are also welcome.

Set in Québec's Côte-Nord, Kuessipan follows the lifelong friendship of two Innu girls whose lives take different paths as they enter adulthood. Through their story, the film explores identity, friendship, love, and the tension between tradition and personal aspirations, offering a moving and authentic portrait of contemporary Indigenous life in Canada.

Acclaimed by critics, Kuessipan received 16 award nominations and won 10 awards, including several honors for Best Film and Best Director.

To sustain our event and nonprofit organization, a $10 donation is recommended. 

The event is FREE for students of the Alliance Francaise San Diego, enrolled in a group or private class.

Your donation help support the cost of our event (movie rights, auditorium rental, etc) and of our educational program such as free screenings for school students.

Free parking is available on site, and seating is unassigned, so guests may choose their seats upon arrival.

You are welcome to bring your own mugs or cups to help us serve tea without creating waste. Thank you for your help!
