Camps Policies

• The membership is not required for purchase of a 1-hr class or a 5-hour package.
• After, you will be required to purchase a membership and a private class package to continue.
• Membership benefits include access to the library and to social and cultural events, as well as other various benefits.
  

For a first purchase, please contact  education@afsandiego.org to confirm teacher availability before registering. If you purchase private classes without checking the availability of a teacher, we may not be able to provide the classes.

Cancellations made at least 30 days before the start of camp are eligible for either:

• a refund, minus a $50 administrative fee; or
  
• a voucher, minus a $25 administrative fee.
  

Cancellations less than 30 days before camp are non-refundable and are not eligible for a voucher.

Campers who leave during a session or miss a day of camp for personal reasons, will not receive a refund. 

Exceptional Circumstances

Cancellation due to incapacity, illness, or accident, including illness related to or exposure to COVID-19, may qualify for a prorated credit upon presentation of supporting documentation from a health-care practitioner. Each request will be reviewed individually.

All required registration documents must be completed as soon as possible and no later than one week before camp.

A $25 late fee will apply to documents that are not received 48h hours before, despite our reminders.

Families with three or more children enrolled simultaneously in AFSD camps receive a 10% sibling discount. Contact education@afsandiego.org

to benefit from this discount.

A minimum of three enrollments is required to fully open a camp. If this quota is not met, students already enrolled in the camp will be offered to transfer to another week, receive a voucher or refund.
