"The adult classes got me back into my French learning journey. My teacher is friendly and so helpful with pronunciation and grammar, and caters each class to what you need. With small class sizes, it feels like such a personal experience—and it's extremely reasonably priced. I'm excited to do more classes here!"
"The warm sense of community makes the experience truly special—a cozy, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere where kids enjoy themselves, build confidence, and naturally improve their French without feeling pressured. A lovely place to learn French and connect with a community that celebrates French language."
"I've been in the book club since last year and have really enjoyed it. The books are interesting and the discussions are challenging in the best way—pushing me to expand my vocabulary and use my French in new ways. The French hike was super fun with a great group, and I plan to participate again!"
"As someone who suffers from test anxiety, I know from experience that the Alliance Française's preparation for the DELF B1 and B2 exams works. The excellent teachers make sure students are comfortable and encouraged to learn as much as they can. Thank you for getting me through two exams!"
"My partner and I love the French Film Club—amazing movies, delicious snacks, and a very friendly crowd. Everything is affordable while still offering a high-quality cultural experience, and the team is always patient and helpful with my French. There's always something inspiring happening here!"
"I am enjoying my experience here. The classes are engaging—and I feel more confident speaking French. I also love that the team puts on so many cultural events—not only does it help me practice French, but the people that attend are smart and fun."
"I absolutely love learning French at the Alliance Française de San Diego. In less than a year, my French has improved significantly. My private lessons are fantastic—my teacher encourages me to explore the language, write, and immerse myself in French culture. If you're on the fence about improving your French, enroll in their courses!"
"Our daughter has attended the French summer camp at the Alliance Française for the past two years. She loves the camp and always comes home talking about what she learned and how much fun she had. We highly recommend the camp!"
