We offer personalized French instruction designed around each student’s level, interests, and goals.

  • Private and Semi-private classes (for up to 3 students)

Lessons format available:

  • In person at the Alliance Française San Diego in UTC
  • Online
  • At your home, subject to location and teacher availability

Our team will help assess your level, discuss your goals and availability, and match you with one of our highly qualified instructors.

As a certified center for French language certifications, Alliance Française also offers private lessons to help students prepare for exams such as the DELF, DALF, and TCF.

Additional information:

  • Membership with the Alliance Française is required for students continuing beyond 10 hours of private classes and gives access to all member benefits. A student membership is included with the purchase of a 25-hour package.
  • Private classes can also be arranged in your home. A contribution toward the teacher’s travel applies for each session. This option must be confirmed before booking so we can ensure teacher availability in your area.
  • Course materials or books may be recommended depending on your learning objectives.

Private Classes Package of 10 hours in person (reduced cost of $70/h) at the Alliance or online.

The advantages of private tuition are that lessons can easily be accommodated to suit each student. Learners also benefit that our instructors can adjust the pace, focus, and goals of a lesson depending on the needs and abilities of each student, meaning that learning efficiency will be maximized.
