Celebrating 400 Years of the Jardin des Plantes
A week of nature, science, imagination, and discovery inspired by one of Paris’s most iconic gardens
This summer, children are invited to explore the wonders of the Jardin des Plantes, which celebrates its 400th anniversary — four centuries of science, biodiversity, and botanical beauty. Founded in 1626, the Jardin des Plantes has grown into a world‑renowned center for natural history, home to extraordinary gardens, greenhouses, museums, and thousands of plant and animal species.
Throughout the week, campers will discover the magic of plants, the role of scientists and explorers, and the importance of protecting our planet. Through hands‑on activities, creative projects, and nature‑inspired games, children will learn about botany, ecology, and the history of this remarkable Parisian landmark.
