COVID – 19:
ALLIANCE FRANÇAISE DE SAN DIEGO STUDENTS CONCERNING CLASSES
Regarding the covid-19 situation in San Diego and out of an abundance of caution, Alliance Française de San Diego decided to switch to online access for all students enrolled in classes for Winter session beginning this Saturday, March 14 and until further notice.
Our students will just need access to a reliable high-speed Internet connection at home and an appropriate computing device: desktop computer, laptop, Chromebook, tablet, or iPad.
The day and time of the class won’t change and no extra fees will be charged.
Your teacher will send you an invitation via your e-mail address to be connected via Zoom application: Et voila!
You will have to download the Zoom Application only if you use a phone and you don’t need to have a camera on your computer: you will always see the teacher, you don’t need your camera to see the teacher. (Camera is only recommended so the others participants and the teacher will see you).
For the younger kids, different activities will be offered to make the online classes easier and will require parents help. Thank you for your understanding.
The winter session will end in 2 more weeks on Saturday March 28 and regarding the situation we will probably continue to offer online classes for Spring session.
Please don’t hesitate to contact Elisabeth, our educational director for questions regarding the classes.
Your support is important to us, Alliance Française de San Diego is a non-profit organization and your contribution helps us to fulfill our mission to provide authentic French educational and cultural programs.
