About the Event
Join us in welcoming Monique Milia-Marie-Luce, who will speak about the migratory flux of the French West Indies, in French.
Monique Milia-Marie-Luce is a winner of the 2022 Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence scholarship at UNC Charlotte. She is from Martinique, French West Indies. She has a PhD in History. She is Associate Professor of Contemporary History at the Université des Antilles (University of the French West Indies), Martinique. She is a member of the research laboratory Aihp-Geode EA-927, working on Caribbean Industrial Archeology, History, Heritage, Geography, Development, and Environment. She is also a fellow of the Institut Convergences Migrations (CI Migrations).
