To keep our Book Clubs running, we need volunteers to host a meeting once a month.
Become a member of the Scholarship Committee
This committee will receive applications from individuals or students (university level or higher) for French language study and study abroad programs, teachers (public or private schools), and individuals with a specific project. All proposals will have to relate to the French language and culture in some way. Winners will be chosen based on originality and content of their proposal and how the results of the project will directly benefit our local community. Priority of one scholarship will be given to a current Alliance Française member if applicable. More information about the scholarship application content requirements in the Fall.
Become a member of the
Ambassador Committee
In order to satisfy many requests from teachers, we are looking for AF members who would be willing to visit Middle School and High School French classes to promote the French culture and language. We would like to form a committee of several members who could create an informative board about France, prepare a speech, be ready to answer diverse questions and promote the French activities offered at Alliance Française de San Diego. If you would like to be part of this new committee, please contact us. When the committee is ready to operate, you will be on a call list. We will call you based on the location of your residence, to minimize
your commute to the requesting school.
